After designing the TEcoNaut online course—available for free in 7 languages on this website —to boost students’ and professionals’ expertise in sustainable boating, we are immersed in developing our Entrepreneurship Guide, in line with our purpose to support the European boating industry in its transition towards more sustainable, innovative, and competitive practices.
It is aimed at a broad audience, including companies, SMEs, start-ups, students, employees, educators, and trainers interested in sustainability, advanced materials, and entrepreneurship in the boating sector.
On June 3, a meeting was held with WIMiO students from Gdańsk University of Technology as part of the TEcoNaut project, during which the above issues were discussed. We believe that the future of European boatbuilding will depend not only on technological innovation but also on people who have the skills, knowledge, and adaptability to put these innovations into practice.
That’s where education and industry meet.
Thank you for your activity, engagement, and sharing your experiences – it’s incredibly valuable!
The meeting was conducted by Dr Eng. Arthur Karczewski.
Are you interested in knowing more about its contents? You can join us for the webinar organised by European Boating Industry, together with the TEcoNaut project partners, about “Strengthening Skills in new materials and Entrepreneurship for the Future of European boat building”.
